Mitsubishi Electric and VTT have developed a core technology for Direct Ocean Capture (DOC).
The process removes CO₂ from seawater, helping to reduce greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
By leveraging existing infrastructure such as desalination plants and power stations, the technology is designed to enable scalable
and economically viable deployment in the future.
