“(“us“; “we“) high priority. Mitsubishi Electric therefore processes personal data in accordance with legal regulations for the protection of personal data and internal standards for data security.

1. scope of processing, types and purposes of data collection

To send our newsletter, we process your personal data, whether you are a business partner, sales partner, supplier, customer or simply interested in receiving regular information from us. We collect your e-mail address, title and your name.  We also collect information about whether and when you open our newsletter and which links you call up in it. In principle, we collect information about whether, when and how you have requested the receipt of our newsletter; we must be able to prove this legally. For this purpose, we also store the IP address from which you have given your consent.
The purpose of the newsletter is to inform you about our products and services, our company and the projects we carry out. We would also like to occasionally inform you about marketing campaigns such as competitions by newsletter. As part of the statistical evaluation, we would like to adapt our newsletters and their contents in the best possible way for the future.

In principle, we do all this either with your consent pursuant to Article 6 (1) (a) of the Basic European Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), or in our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.

If the above personal data is not made available or Mitsubishi Electric is unable to collect it, or if you restrict its processing or revoke your consent, the individual purposes described may not be achieved.

2. transmission and passing on of personal data

Mitsubishi Electric may transfer your personal data to other Mitsubishi Electric branches within the European Economic Area (EEA) for the above-mentioned purposes, but only if this is necessary to fulfil the purpose.

Mitsubishi Electric also works with service providers (so-called contract processors) who assist us in creating, sending and collecting statistics for the newsletters. These service providers only act in accordance with Mitsubishi Electric’s instructions and are contractually obliged to comply with the applicable data protection requirements.

Otherwise, we will not pass on your personal data to third parties.

3. storage periods, revocability of given declarations of consent

Mitsubishi Electric will store the personal data provided by you for as long as the above-mentioned purpose is given. Should you unsubscribe from the newsletter or assert your right of deletion, restriction of processing for the future, or your right of objection, the purpose expires with the consequence of deletion of your personal data.

You can cancel your order for the future in any newsletter via a simple link. You can also contact us at any time at the addresses listed under 5).

Note: If you are in a business relationship with us in addition to receiving our newsletter, further legal requirements may apply here for storage periods, which we must follow. Of course this has no influence on your wish not to receive any more newsletters.

4. right to information, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, right of objection and right to data transferability

You have the right under applicable data protection law:

(i) to request confirmation as to whether Mitsubishi Electric processes your personal data and to receive information about any personal data processed by Mitsubishi Electric and other information,

(ii) to request the correction of inaccurate personal data,

(iii) to request the deletion of your personal data processed by Mitsubishi Electric,

(iv) to require Mitsubishi Electric to restrict the processing of your personal data,

(v) obtain personal information that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format.

(vi) to object to the processing of your personal data.

The Mitsubishi Electric data protection organisation supports you in all matters relating to data protection. Complaints may also be lodged with Mitsubishi Electric’s data protection organisation and the rights referred to in Section 4 may be asserted. Mitsubishi Electric always endeavours to address and remedy enquiries and complaints received via the above channels. In addition to the above-mentioned contact options at Mitsubishi Electric, you can also contact the responsible data protection supervisory authority at any time. You will find the responsible data protection authority in the following table.
