Merry Christmas from Germany!

Christmas is the time for yummy cookies, tasty punch and delicious dinners. We asked our colleagues to reveal their favourite Christmas recipes.

On 16 December Heiko Schräder (Sales Engineer, Industrial Automation @ Mitsubishi Electric Deutschland)  tells us the recipe of his favourite cookies:

Oatmeal nut cookies

“It’s not Christmas if there are no oatmeal nut cookies on the plate….”

Oatmeal nut cookies

Ingredients:

250g butter
200g sugar
2 packets vanillin sugar
2 eggs
200g grated nuts
300g oatmeal
4 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons baking powder

Preparation:

//Mix all ingredients well.

//Roll small hazelnut-sized balls from the dough and place them on the baking sheet, leaving some space between them.

// Then flatten the balls with a fork. It is best to dip the fork in a little flour so that the cookies do not stick to the fork.

// Bake the cookies at 180° C for about 10-15 minutes.
